Condolence & Memory Journal

I am ever so saddened by this news of the loss of Dennis. My heart goes out to his family and friends. I loved this man with all of my being. They just don't make them like him any more. We worked together at Tomoka Engineering in Daytona Beach, Florida for several years. We were a TEAM. He was such a gentle, loving man with a heart of gold. We had each others' backs for whatever came our way. He was the calm and I was the storm. If a client was upset for any reason, he could solve any problem they might have with his ability to calm the situation. When we took up a collection and ran short, him and I would equally match whatever the difference was that we needed. He was such a dedicated hard worker and worked many long hours. It was never the same after he retired. I will miss him forever. Rest in peace my friend, you worked hard while here on earth.

So sorry to hear of the loss of Dennis. I remember him as a quiet person and Charles as the one that liked to kid around and make you laugh. I have fond memories of these two brothers as we grew up being the same age and shared an Aunt and Uncle (Buddy & Eleanor Johnson) Our hearts go out to the Passwater family members. I use to drive Dennis around in his car because he was not 16 yet and could not get his drivers license. I drove him to Rehoboth, Milton, and other trips. Sometimes a whole car load of his friends. Sometimes we got into a race with another car. We had a lot of fun together. He was a very kind guy and never talked bad about anyone. He would always pick up a hitch hiker. One night his car broke down and we walked from Milton to almost Georgetown before we finally got a ride. He was a true friend and will be missed by all. Sorry for your loss.
