One of my best friends. His first semester teaching at Clemson was my first semester as a student. We have been friends ever since. Many good times. Loads of laughter. Great stories. My heart is truly broken over this. I will miss him.

Mike Maloney was a very special teacher to me. He was one of my advisers in graduate school and he was always there to provide me with advise related to both school and life in Clemson and outside of Clemson. I will always remember fondly his laughter and his Hawaiian shirts. He will be forever missed and I am grateful that I got to meet him during my time at Clemson. Rest in peace.
