Edith was a forever friend. I always admired her family, and who I referred to as we grew up, the three beautiful, talented Lackey girls.Edith, Bettysue and Anniebell. Until we meet again, and I know we will. I will always remember and love you.

I first met Speedy in the early 70s. She made me feel a real part of the family right away. It was so enjoyable after many years to get to visit with "Speedy" a few months ago. A wonderful person and the corner stone of a remarkable family. My condolences to the family and friends of a wonderful lady who will be missed and always remembered.

I a million memories of this wonderful lady that has been apart of my life forever and will always be. We laughed, cried, teased each over the years until last week when she was to weak to talk.
